Ranburne - Wesley W. Downs, 61, died Monday, October 10, 2016 at His Residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 13, 2016, at Dryden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bobby Garner and Rev. Gary Stewart, officiating. Burial will follow in Rock Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 12, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Brother - Marvin Downs
Pallbearers will be Clay Kimbrell, Brad Kimbrell, Jay Yates, Darrell Durham, Gunner Grimms, Frankie Downs, Clint Downs, and Dean Capes.
Mr. Downs was a native of Bowdon and resident of Cleburne County for 35 years. Wesley was employed by Southwire Sawmill for 23 years and owned D & W Logging until he retired. Wesley was an avid bird hunter and founder of Alabama Region of NSTRA. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and his two grandsons were his world. Wesley was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Linnie Downs, sister, Retha Capes, two brothers, Junior and Charles Downs.
