Ranburne - Archie Olin Whitmore, 90, died Sunday, April 30, 2017 in Ranburne Alabama.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, May 3, 2017, at Dryden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Micheal White officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. View Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 3, 2017 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Whitmore was a lifelong resident of Cleburne County. He served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of World War II. Mr. Whitmore retired from Lee Brass Foundry after 45 years of service. He was preceded in death by his wife, Henrietta Whitmore; sons, Junior and Robert Whitmore; and brothers, Lee and Thurman Whitmore.
