Delta - James "Jim" Casper Ligon, 89, died Friday, May 12, 2017 at Stringfellow Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, May 16, 2017, at Bethel North Baptist Church with the Rev. Randy Morris and Rev. Ronnie Adams, officiating. The body will lie in state one hour prior to service. Burial will follow in Bethel Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, May 15, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Brother - Wilbur Ligon, Heflin, AL
Brother - David Ligon, Delta, AL
Grandchildren - 6
Great-Great Grandchildren - 4
Pallbearers will be: Bradley Porteous, Riley Ligon, River Ligon, Kenneth Bonner, Cole Young, Randall Kellum, Brian Ligon, and Ronald Ligon.
Mr. Ligon was a native and lifelong resident of Cleburne County and member of Bethel North Baptist Church. He was employed at M & H Valve for 42 years. Jim loved fishing, bird hunting, the Atlanta Braves and Auburn football.
