Virgil Cornwell, age 74, of Ranburne, AL, died Tuesday, June 27, 2017.

George Cornwell, John Cornwell, Steve Cornwell, Jerry Cornwell
and Raymond Cornwell.
Grandchildren:
Mathew (Melissa) Benefield, Tylor Cornwell, Shanna Cornwell, Hayden Cornwell Landen Thompson, Alexandria Thompson, Gabi Benefield, Lane Benefield
Great Grandchildren:
Carter and Bailey Benefield

Arrangements are being handled by Dryden Funeral Home, PO Box 275, Heflin, AL where the family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, Saturday, July 1, 2017. Funeral service will be at Dryden Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 PM, Saturday, July 1, 2017, Brian Smith officiating.

Mr. Cornwell was a member of the VFW Lodge #4549 in Robinson, IL, Lance Corporal Marine Corp. Virgil served at PhuBai Vietnam Company B-3rd Division Motor Transport Battalion, 3rd Marine Division Fleet Marine Force. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Emery and Leola Maureen Cornwell, brother, Ralph, Roger, and Gary Cornwell and sisters, Becky Pannitto and Valerie Ibarra.
