Fruithurst - Geraldine M Cheatwood, 73, died Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Deceased's Residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, February 12, 2018, at Fruithurst Baptist Church with the Rev. Lee Hollis and Rev. James Owens officiating. Burial will follow in Upper Cane Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, February 12, 2018 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Fruithurst Baptist Church. Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Husband - Larry Cheatwood, Fruithurst, AL
Daughter - DeNeen Roe, Fruithurst, AL
Grandson - Ethan Roe, Fruithurst, AL
Pallbearers will be Dane Dingler, Todd Martin, Larry Porter
Todd Thompson, Jim Gingrich, and Glenn Thompson.
Mrs Cheatwood was a native of Cleburne County and a resident of Guntersville before moving back to Fruithurst in 1995. She was a member of Fruithurst Baptist Church. Geraldine loved to sew, she also enjoyed outdoor activities such as water skiing, motorcycle rides, fishing and traveling.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Essie McIntyre; brothers, Edward and William McIntyre; sisters, Betty Hoyle and Dorothy Matheny.
