Obituary for Ophie Gore Wysner

Heflin - Funeral services for Ophie Gore Wysner, 91, will be at 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 17, 2018, at Dryden Funeral Home Chapel with visitation from 12:00 PM -2:00 PM Saturday, February 17, 2018.
Mrs. Wysner was born to the late Clara Gable Gore and Phillip Gore on June 1, 1926. She was a member of The Church of God, Bowdon, GA. Mrs. Wysner was married to the late Jessie Ray Wysner.
Ophie leaves to cherish her memories, children, Fratus "Poochie" Wysner (Cathy, deceased) of Heflin, and Daniel "Goob" Wysner (Lesa Jo) of Heflin, four grandchildren, Summer, Sarah, Ari Jacks and Anderson Jacks, daughter in law, Jean Wysner of Heflin, great grandchild, Kallen Campbell, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Mrs. Wysner was preceded in death by her parents, Clara and Phillip Gore, husband Jesse Ray Wysner, daughter, Billy Sharon Wysner, son Freddy "Chub" Wysner.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Cathy Wysner, Lesa Jo Valdez-Wysner, Tom Owen, Nellie, Kenneth and Gary Howell, Mary Jones-Turner, Julie Langley, Betty Jones, Grandview Hospital and Meadow View Nursing and Rehab facility for the care they gave to our mother.
Mrs. Wysner was a loved lady by many and will surely be missed.
Ophie was a devoted house wife and mother and a member of The Arbor Day Foundation and P.E.T.A.. Ophie was an avid Alabama Football fan "Roll Tide", loved baking, cooking, and family gatherings.
