Tallassee - Wallace Lee Turley, 83, died Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Tallassee Community Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 17, 2018, at Liberty Hill Congregational Methodist Church in Heflin, AL., with the Rev. Buddy Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, March 17, 2018 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Liberty Hill Congregational Methodist Church. Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include:
Son - Timothy(Wendy) Turley, Tallassee, AL
Grandchildren - Gray Turley, Will Turley, Kent Whetstone, and Preston Whetstone
Caregiver - Marylan Collins
Pallbearers will be: Randall Webb, Glenn Price, James Austin, Ted Campbell, Chris Nichols, and Tim Evans.
Mr. Turley was a native and resident of Cleburne County for most of his life. Wallace was a member of Liberty Hill Congregational Methodist Church and retired truck driver. Wallace was preceded in death by his wife, Yvonna. The family would like to give special thanks to his caregiver, Marylan Collins.
