Heflin - Areaner Nappier, age 89, died on Monday, May 14, 2018 at her home home in Heflin, AL. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, William Thomas Nappier, sons, Danny(Judy) Nappier and Ricky(Kathy) Nappier both of Heflin, AL., five grandchildren, Stephanie(Bradley) Alred, Natalie(Kyle) Braxton, Rebecca(Chad) Bray, Bobby(April) Brown, and Brandon Nappier, all of Heflin, AL., eleven great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Areaner was preceded in death by her parents, Matt and Jessie McCareeth, sister, Sarah Kerr, and brothers, Leroy McCareeth and Ulmer McCareeth.
Areaner spent all her years as a homemaker, loving and spending time with her family.
A celebration of her life is scheduled for Thursday, May 17, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Dryden Funeral Home. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 16, 2018 from 5 until 7 PM at the funeral home. Steve Robertson and Judy Warmack will be officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Ray Campbell, Brandon Nappier, Bradley Alred, Kyle Braxton, Chad Bray, and Doug Warmack. Honorary pallbearer will be Winford Kerr.
