Heflin - Virgil "Buddy" Gorman, Jr., 64, died Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, July 9, 2018, at Dryden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jamie Bostic officiating. Burial will follow in Heflin City Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, July 9, 2018 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Pallbearers will be: Michael Ward, Frankie Ward, Shane Jarrell, Ray Cantrell, Ernie McCormick and Roy Jarrell.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Austin Worthy, Matthew Strickland, Jose Becerra, and Brady Ward.
Buddy was native and lifelong resident of Cleburne County. He loved fishing, hunting and dirt track racing. Buddy also enjoyed spending time with family especially his grandchildren. Buddy is preceded in death by his mother, Virginia May Gorman and sister, Sandra Jean Jarrell.;
