HEFLIN - Jessie Price Hendrix, 80, passed away July 17, 2018 at her residence in Trickum Valley, Alabama. She was born on August 27, 1937 in Cleburne County Alabama and was a lifelong resident of Trickum Valley.
Jessie retired from Lamar Manufacturing Company where she rose through the ranks to become Plant Manager.
Jessie is survived by her husband of 62 years, Dwayne Hendrix,
two sons and their wives, Terry W and Sheila Hendrix and Phillip M and Rhonda Hendrix, three grandchildren and their spouses, Terry Wayne II and Vickie Hendrix, Martin and Ashley Hendrix, and Brad and Mandy Benefield, five great grandchildren, Caleb and Kali Hendrix, Eden, Boston, and Bodie Benefield, a sister, Jennie P Cosey, and a brother Clarence Price.
Jessie was a member of Crumley's Chapel Church of God. She loved life and enjoyed being with family and friends. She also loved Alabama Football and the outdoor life.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 pm, Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Dryden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael White officiating. Burial will follow at Cleburne County Memory Gardens, Ranburne, Alabama. Visitation will be Thursday, July 19, 2018 from 11 am to 1 pm. at Dryden Funeral Home.
