Heflin - Jimmy Earl Norton, 87, died Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Noland Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, December 14, 2018, at Dryden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Owens and Dr. Steve Dempsey, officiating. Burial will follow in Heflin City Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, December 14, 2018 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Daughter - Kelly(Tracy) Cooper
Son - Brian Lee(Crystal) Norton
Son - Steven O'Neal(Vivian) Norton
Grandchildren - 11
Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
Jimmy was a native and lifelong resident of Cleburne County and a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. Jimmy served in the U.S. Army. He was a retired truck driver and loved to fox and rabbit hunt. Jimmy and Noma were married 54 wonderful years. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Ruby Norton, sisters, Mary Lee Hamm and Doris Sayer and brothers, Orbie, Ronald Mac, and Alburn Norton.
