Anniston - Sarah Frances Angel, 82, died Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, May 27, 2017, at Dryden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Billy Kennedy and Rev. Eric Snider, officiating. Burial will follow in Iron City Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, May 27, 2017 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM. Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include:
Daughters - Kathy (Roy) Howell, Denise (Kenny) Gilmer, Deborah (Randall) Doss, Lisa (Tommy) Payne and Machelle (Ricky) Parkman
Grandchildren - Tammy Allred, Bart Howell, Stephanie Bright, Jason Maner, Ashley Fowler, Mark Maner, Marty McCrelles, Crystal Cole, Cala Doss, Donnie Law, Shayla Law, Haley Deese, Meagan Deese and Spencer Deese.
Great Grandchildren - Bailey Ingram, Emma Allred, Logan Price, Crimson Cole, Tristan Law, Jordan and Mason Maner, Kaitlyn and Owen Law, and Tristan Law.
Sister - Louise Clay
Brother - Roy Ponder
Pallbearers will be: Bart Howell, Donnie Law, Jason Maner, Mark Maner, Tristan Law, Spencer Deese and Logan Price.
Mrs. Angel was retired from Sewell Mfg. Co. after 22 years. Sarah was a mother of 6, grandmother of 14, great grandmother of 10. She was a faithful member of The Heflin Church of God, and an Evangelist since age 17. Mrs. Angel was preceded in death by her husband James Calvin Angel, daughter Brenda Maner, grandson Landon McCrelles, parents Charlie and Nevada Ponder, brother Raymond Ponder and sister Marie Woods.
