Heflin - Betty Sue Davis, 86, died Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, June 10, 2017, at Dryden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Earl Davis Jr. and Donald Davis, officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, June 10, 2017 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM. Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Miss Davis was a native and lifelong resident of Cleburne County and owned and operated Sue's Beauty Shoppe and also one of three sisters that operated The Three Sister's Cafe in downtown Heflin. Sue and her sister, Faye we founding members of the Heflin Chapter of "The Old Maids Club". She was a creative woman who excelled at many arts and crafts. Hundreds of children wake up to a handmade Sue Davis stocking filled with goodies at Christmas. Sue was also known for her cake baking which she continued till her death. Sue was preceded in death by her parents, John and Carrie Davis, sisters Lillie Davis and Mildred Smith and brothers Robert, Earl, and Raymond Davis.
