Jerolyn Elaine Sanders, 73, of Notasulga, AL, passed away on January 2, 2018.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. (cst) on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at New Harmony Baptist Church, Heflin, AL. A reception will immediately follow in the fellowship hall of the church.

Jerolyn Elaine Sanders was born January 19, 1943 to Ruth Gossage Phillips Nichols and Lamar “Buck” Phillips.

She is preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Alma Janice Phillips Dulaney of Norwalk CA, and a nephew, Vincent James Conte of Goodwater, AL along with her grandparents and several aunts and uncles.

She is survived by a daughter, Dawnette Godwin of Opelika, AL, a grandson, Collin Nichols (fiancé, Carmen Littleton) of Simpsonville SC, two sisters, Barbara “Faye” Conte of Goodwater, AL and Agnes Regina “Gena” Rojas of Alexander City, AL. Survivors also include step family, several aunts, uncles, nieces & nephews and a host of cousins who will miss her dearly.

Memorials may be given to the New Harmony Baptist Church Building Fund or to a charity of your choice.
