Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Rev. Piedmont - Rev. Stanley Clyde Turner, 67, died Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at Gadsden Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, August 31, 2018, at Dryden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kevin Turner, Rev. Mark Cooper, and Rev. Greg Thurman officiating. Burial will follow in Heflin City Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, August 31, 2018 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include:
Wife - Wanda Turner
Daughter - Tonya Abernathy
Daughter - Tammy Horn
Son - Toby Romine
Son - Stanley Kyle Turner
Fur Baby - Little Bit
Grandchildren - Aaron, Hunter, & Kylie Turner
Great Grand Child - Beau Turner
Brother - Steve Turner
Brother - Sandy Turner
Nephews - 2
Pallbearers will be: Aaron Turner, Hunter Turner, Kevin Mandley, Toby Romine, David Davenport, Greg Watts, and Tommy Timmons.
Mr. Turner was a loving father and husband to his wife of 25 years. He was a dedicated man of God, who loved singing and preaching. Stanley was the current pastor of Jones Chapel Missionary Baptist Church of Ball Play, AL. Stanley was also a member of the Turner Family Singers.
