Pam was born on May 1, 1969 in Heflin, Alabama. She spent her early years there and was a 1987 graduate of Cleburne County High School. Pam attended Jacksonville State University where she was a member of the Marching Southerners Ballerinas. She worked for several years as the Assistant City Clerk for the City of Heflin, was a founding member of Relay for Life in Cleburne County, Alabama and had also been appointed to the Cleburne County Board of Registrars. After moving to Jesup in 2006, Pam was owner and operator of Velocity Health and Fitness. She served her community as chairperson of the Downtown Development Authority and as a member of the Relay for Life Committee in Wayne County. She served on the board of directors for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and had also been emcee for the Wayne County Christmas Parade on several occasions when volunteering with the Chamber of Commerce. Pam’s business was elected Small Business of the Year in 2014 by the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce and she was a 2015 graduate of Leadership Wayne. Pam loved her community, but she loved her church even more. She devoted herself to her Lord, Jesus Christ, and Calvary Baptist Church through the Choir and Music Department. In addition, she participated regularly with the Ladies Ministry Team, taught Sunday School for Junior High students and worked as the Vacation Bible School director. Pam’s prayer was that the example she set had lead someone else to know the Lord, Jesus Christ, as their personal Lord and savior as she had.
