Heflin - Howard Evans Cotten, 74, died Wednesday, November 14, 2018.
In honor of Howard's love for coffee a Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 25, 2018, at The Southern Brewing Trading Company 246 Burns St. Heflin Al. 36264 with Rev. Vann Williamson officiating.
Survivors include:
Wife - Dorothy Moline Cotten, Heflin, AL.
Daughters - Debra (Patrick) Murray, Heflin, AL and Kelly Lackey, Oxford, AL.
Step-Children - Sonja B.(Ralph) Cook, and Harold Scott (Brenda) Blanton both of Heflin, AL.
Grandchildren- Presley Evan (Trace) Biggers, Kaleb Trace and Kloe Madison Lackey.
Great Grandchildren- Atlas Lowell and Otilla Cotten Biggers.
Brother - Jesse Wayne (Betty) Cotten, Ohatchee, AL.
Mr. Cotten was a life long resident of Calhoun and Cleburne counties. He was a retired insurance salesman and night watchman for L.E. Bell Construction Company. Howard was a member of Pinetucky Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Eva Cotten, and son-in-law, Jim Lackey.
