Heflin - Donald R. Fields, 74, died Monday, April 1, 2019 at Grandview Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, April 4, 2019, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Randy Morris and Rev. Pete Frames, officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 3, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Son - Scott(Duska) Fields, Heflin, AL
Son - Keith Tibbetts, Heflin, AL
Sister - Carol Bond, Huntsville, AL
Grandchild - Hunter(Rachel) Fields
Grandchild - Clark(Caton) Fields
Great Grandchildren - 6
Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
Donald was a native of Calhoun Co. and resident of Cleburne County most of his life. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Donald retired from Verizon after 30+ years of service and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was an avid deer hunter and loved the outdoors. Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Elsie Fields and sister, Louise Hill.
