Heflin - Cleo Prestridge, 75, died Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Floyd Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, June 12, 2019, at Dryden Funeral Home Chapel with the Dr. Larry Riddle, Rev. Chris Jackson, and Rev. Ray Clevenger officiating. Burial will follow in Harmony Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 11, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Daughter - Shelia Vickers, Douglasville, GA
Daughter - Tracey(Philip) Abney, Centre, AL
Son - David(Sharon) Prestridge, Northport, AL
Daughter - Gail(Bill) Stephens, Fruithurst, AL
Sister - Nell Shuster, California,
Grandchildren - 10
Great Grandchildren - 9
Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers: Mark Vickers, Heather Henson, Michael Abney, Kristen Abney, Andrew Stephens, James Prestridge, Susan Prestridge, and Jessie Prestridge.
Grandchildren will serve as honorary pallbearers: Haley Stephens and Trip Stephens.
Cleo was a native and lifelong resident of Cleburne County. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Cleo was married to Doug for 58 years, where they served 43 years in the ministry at Harmony Grove Baptist Church. She taught multi handicapped children for 23 years and served as a volunteer Chaplain at RMC for 9 years and at Cleburne County Jail for 5 years. Cleo was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Eunice Perkins and brother, Bill Perkins.
