Heflin - James Neal Skinner of Heflin passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at RMC. He was born to Lloyd and Lavada Skinner, November 29, 1928. He was the oldest of six children, with one surviving - Ross (Sue) Skinner of Lawrenceville, GA. He is also survived by his wife - Sybil Skinner, step-son Derrick Busby, and step-daughter Marsha Busby.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Dryden Funeral Home Chapel with visitation Friday, August 18, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Dr. Don Carroll and Rev. James Owens will officiate.
Neal was a lifelong resident of Cleburne County and a member and deacon of Pine Grove Baptist Church. Neal retired from Anniston Army Depot and was owner of Skinner Watch and Clock Repair.
Pallbearers will be: Ralph Skinner, Jr., Ronnie Fordham, Stephen Skinner, Rodney Skinner, Skipper Bailey and Justin Bailey.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of Faith Sunday School Class.
