Heflin - JoAnne M. Braden, 75, died Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at UAB Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 20, 2018, at Pine Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. James Owens, Rev. T.J. Morgan, and Dr. Steve Dempsey officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, July 19, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Husband - John Earl Braden, Heflin, AL
Son - Randall Braden, Alexander City, AL
Son - Jason Braden, Heflin, AL
Son - Chad (Kim) Braden, Athens, AL
Grandchildren - Tyler(Julie), Brylee, and Ava Braden.
JoAnne McCormick Braden was born January 16, 1943. She was a lifelong Cleburne County resident and a 1961 graduate of Cleburne County High School. She worked and retired as an aide for the Cleburne County School System. She loved and raised three boys and was a devoted wife of 55 years. She was a long time active member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father Earl McCormick, mother Lessie McCormick, and brother Billy McCormick.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alabama Baptist Association Children's Home or Cleburne Christian Outreach and Thrift Store.
